If youâre looking for a nice apartment with helpful, friendly management, runâdonât walkâfrom this place. If you can look beyond the rundown appearance of the property, with its filthy hallways, badly maintained parking lots (in which I have found needles), and ignored maintenance requests, you could get by. But if you end up here, prepare yourself. We ended up at Fillmore Crossing because we have large breed dogs, and this is one of two places in The Springs with relaxed breed restrictions. Because of this, there are numerous dogs, some of which are aggressive. Leash laws mean nothing when a 90 pound dog tries to hurl itself through a glass door to attack you. I pay over $1000 a month to go without heat in the winter, and to have a shower that soaks our bedroom carpet, closet, and the apartment directly downstairs. In 10 months, this has never been successfully resolved. The staff, particularly the property manager--nothing but a slumlord, honestly--is rude, confrontational, condescending, sheâs the last person on earth who should be working with the public. The inconsistency of this place is mind boggling. The office doesnât keep regular hours, even though hours are posted on the property website, and the incompetency of the property manager is why this complex is the worst Iâve ever lived in by far. Do not rent at Fillmore Crossing unless you have no other option. Even then, look harder.
